Lost they were.

Within themselves.

But a sense of belonging came with it.

They both became use to the darkness within.

It was home. It was normal.

They found comfort in it.

How could a being so lost, so cold

Be able to embrace the warmth of a hug

The softness of skin

The sweetness of a kiss

so many questions they have

How can she trust when all she knows is lies

How can he appreciate life when hes seen so much death

How can she comfort when all she knows is pain

How can he retain when all he knows is loss.

But they press on, lost.

Searching.

In unfamiliar places and unworthy people

Neither knowing that the answer lies within each other

He is.

She is.

They are.

Countless unfortunate events drew them together

Neither knowing that their right now, Is the beginning of forever.

The end of today is never And their right here will be wherever.

As long as they're together.

Being apart only allows that comforting darkness to set in

When all they want is to be let in.

To the others light.

When they are together

There is nirvana in chaos

Simplicity in confusion

Time and space are non existent

Only in sync hearts and locked lips

Entangled legs and zero inhibitions

If there is no greater gift than love

She is his Christmas morning

He is her birthday

They together are a holiday.

Celebrate.
