There are some songs i think i will always associate with certain fics no matter how old i get

some of those are:

Every single song from tcoptp that has made its way onto my playlist, all of them, i might have listened to them before i was even in this fandom, now it’s just tcoptp to me

Psycho killer - there’s this scene in edge by pinkpalaceapartments where reg (who is infact a psycho killer) is driving in his car after having done something and this song plays and that’s the end of the chapter and i just love it so much

Italian rhapsody - i don’t remember the name but there was a young royals au i read where they were in an orchestra and wille played timpany and simon played flute and this was one of the songs they played

Hymme à l’amour - it will always be that damn rubiks cube, nothing can change that

Any song from the all my cards are here playlist that made it into my regular rotation but specifically this love

Teenage dirtbag - i read this fic only once but it was barty in a band singing to evan at some bar and it was teenage dirtbag but he changed some lyrics for him and then they got together and now that song is just rosekiller to me

Tis a pity she was a whore - this was mentioned one (1) time in art heist baby but now whenever i hear it im reminded of remus lupin playing it in that coffee shop when arthur weasley was there and being forced to only play instruments from then on

Francesa - this isn’t even in crimson rivers but the two are so intrinsically intertwined in my head that one always reminds me of the other

Every song on nico diangelo’s debut album in talk your talk and go viral (i just need that love spiral), this fic took up like 2 years of my life and that “album” is still in my Spotify library

Happy birthday @wrongcaitlyn (and Percy)! Here's a little token of appreciation for your dedication to the fic and amazing writing. I will be doing more fanart at some point (not sure when tho) hopefully of better quality because I low key ran out of time on this, this is the first time im drawing most of these characters and am still getting used to digital art lol. I definitely underestimated how long it would take to draw 9 people. The cake is vanilla btw ;)

hey guys, so some fun news outside of tyt that i just wanted to mention bc!! if u didn't know i'm a hs senior and obviously college apps have been taking up a LOT of my time this year (not this semester, that was just trips and whatnot, but last year) - anyway, i started writing this fic when i was a sophomore, and got to the part where all of the main tyt characters were applying to college when i was a junior. it was partly intentional and partly unintentional that i sent almost all of the main characters to *my* personal top colleges (will/cecil - nyu, hazel/frank - ucla, jason - berkeley, leo/shel - stanford)

now i didn't even realize it until i entered my senior year, when i started working on these college app's and realizing that damn, it'd be so funny if i actually got into one of these colleges and got to live the life of one of these characters that i've been writing so much about.

well now that the final decisions have come out, i can say that i've been accepted to nyu, ucla, and berkeley (waitlisted for stanford, rip leo and shel!) and will get to live the life of hazel and frank next year (though with cecil's major!)

i'm honestly still in shock and so so excited for what's to come (including, FOR SURE, a tgol chapter coming this weekend because i've actually started working on it!! and let me just say that. a lot happens. and the reason it took so long was because i needed to do some major plot re-working and so the time skip may be coming sooner than expected ;))

anyway just wanted to say thank you guys sm for the support over the years, mainly with tyt and also just how y'all are always so nice when i have to take breaks from writing for school reasons - so proud to say that it was all worth it!!
