@wrotefate | A muffled call!
Teal eyes locked on the soft motions, the beautifully strong stance, the bite of sandwich was stuck in his mouth completely locked and focus on the one dancing. Kenny absently tried to just swallow the bite whole, choking on the bread.
SHIT-
@wrotefate ♡’d for a starter
“What’s that supposed to mean?” There’s a huff, a puff in her cheeks, petulant almost child she is, there is scrutiny in her gaze as she sizes him up— whether he’s said something insulting or if she’s misinterpreted what he meant is up for debate ( given who she’s talking to, both are fairly likely, in her opinion ). It wouldn’t be quite like her if she hasn’t managed to jump to the wrong conclusion, bypass some level of overthinking; crossing her arms to sulk. “Seriously, I don’t know what you meant at all... even though I’m really trying, I swear!”

Ahiru shivered. What started out as a light shower turned into a heavy downpour. Why didn’t she think to bring an umbrella? Stupid, stupid, stupid! Really, she should’ve known better. The air smelled like rain, and the sky a dark cloudy grey. Still she didn’t bother fetching her yellow umbrella before heading out. It wasn’t that far to Fakir’s. She really thought she could beat the rain. So much for that.
The rain mercilessly beat down on her back. Ahiru picked up the pace as her destination came into view. Karon’s house. Hugging her arms tight around her chest in a feeble attempt for warmth, she sprinted. And naturally she slipped, falling forward on the slippery cobblestone below. She let out a little ‘oof’, but quickly pushed herself up, ignoring the dirt and mud now clinging to her front. At last, she made it to the door. Ahiru knocked hard on the wood, praying for a swift reply. It was really, really, cold out here!
