The hop in Seojin’s step resembled something as a skip on that day. An unknown presence in the air since that morning made him especially chipper ㅡ certainly not never seen with him, but uncommon, to say the least. If one asked the reasoning, they would be hard pressed to figure out why. He didn’t quite know either. Perhaps for once he woke up on the right side of the bed. His lips tilted up into a slight smile. It was noticeable enough to startle one of the interns waiting by the door. ( Was that truly Park Seojin striding in? ) He even looked their way with the expression plastered onto his visage.

It took seconds for the grin to fade from his lips. All suffixed with an irritated grunt.

Every time Seojin arrived at the small Wishbone Records building, he fancied himself a drink from the vending machine. Yes ㅡ he brought water with him wherever he went but apple juice was a special item; particularly given the company’s current lack of a cafeteria or craft services function. He would take what he could get of the favorite beverage. It was just about the only sweet thing the singer could stomach, and it did wonders for his throat. 

Choi Jiwoo saw to it that obtaining this juice of the Gods was a fifty-fifty chance. The vending machine was a hot commodity around the company so there were bound to be shortages. Somehow, the older ( and taller ㅡ but Seojin didn’t want to talk about that ) man always managed to stray over to the beverage machine at the same time. Coincidentally enough, to grab the same drink.

Regardless, he took a long stride toward the vending machine face and peered in through the frosty glass. “Ah, damn. You got the last one again, huh? Looks like I need to walk faster.” The soloist grit his teeth to hold back any chuckles that he felt tickling the back of his throat. Instead, he cleared it. There was no way that he was going to let this ruin his day. He resumed his attempt at being upbeat.

"You on a break? How’s Dandelion doin’ lately? I know two of ‘em are in a drama now. I hope Ahreum doesn’t get too stressed out... so make sure you look after her like you’re supposed to, got it?”

Not True! :> thanks for trusting me and I'm sorry for always causing you trouble I know it's probably irritating but you're a great manager and I'm happy you are with the group!!! I promise to not cause too much stress for you anymore ><

     he frequents the wishbone building enough, that he’s able to properly map out the entire place without seeming too much like a tourist. hues, jaded by sleepless nights filled with music sheets shoved too close to his face, vision blurs as the ligneous beneath his fingertip taps without sequence. a silent curse following as he the paper crumples in his palm, he feels the edges dig into his hand, feels the crescents of his nails form on the insides as he submits to the dissatisfied scores on the sheet. vexed was the sigh that hisses from his lips, as he tosses the sheet across the room and into the trash can, a triumphant eye roll as he makes it one swift movement. if only everything else in life could be just as simple.

     a breather was needed. he sets his work aside, lets the cursed pressure subside for a moment, lets it sink to the bottom of his fractured soul and lets it rest. even if it’s just a moment. he decides to take it a step further, decides to venture out into the real world for the first time in what felt like weeks. avoidance was never helpful nor healthy, for that matter.

     he feels the sudden breeze grazing at his temples, feels the gently tousle of his strands, the way each breath feels more cleansed and at ease than the last. lets the sunshine caress at his temples, and glaze his arms a subtle shade of sienna. finds himself traversing too far from his responsibilities, too far from his comfort, a twisted reality where his pressures coincided with the same place he found safety. a sigh leaving from his lips in attempts to hinder the knotted thoughts that ravage his mind. a moment of loss as a shoulder collides with another, he’s quick to take a step back, catch himself and turn back, only to be greeted by features so familiar it forms an instinctual grimace on his features. he retracts the reflex as quick as it had stretched across his face, lets the quick bow guise the obvious weariness he lets paint his countenance.

     “sorry, my bad.” dandelion’s manager, some sort of terminator villain who took his job a little too seriously, it was almost problematic. at least, in the eyes of the crescent maknae. “shouldn’t you be guarding dandelion?” his tone meaning no malice, the coffee shop beside only now being of interest as the sign catches his attention. “are you on coffee break?”

Wishbone's Han Chorong spent more time at Yuseong than someone from another company should. One could refer to her as something of an unwitting traitor, in that sense. A cafeteria, persuasive long time friends, and her own need to get out of her bubble brought her there more often than not. As a trainee ( and even before finding Wishbone ), she would take a long walk over after practice to meet up with one of her high school friends just so they could go home together. Everything after this point marked Chorong as a creature of habit.

However, those sparks of impulsiveness lead her to forget her current obligations. She was far from accustomed to having to ask permission or let anyone else know of her whereabouts on a constant basis. A free roaming trainee she was no longer. Idolhood had its obligations and restrictions ㅡ one of which included reporting her every mood to her manager. Perhaps it was an unconscious act of defiance.

Even now, a few months into her career, she neglected to remember her new place in the world. She left the dorm and headed over, without permission nor the knowledge of anyone on her team. They would have every right to chastise and worry for her, and she would have no other choice than to take the bickering on her chin. ( This, she lamented with a sigh, is why Han Chorong was not chosen as Dandelion's leader. )

It was simply another day of traveling to the Yuseong building with a soft tinge of pressure hanging off her straightened shoulders. Chorong thought of her reasonings as entirely legitimate, particularly if she did have the goal of eventually collaborating with one of the senior idols she always hoped to work with.

But first... her stomach directed her to the cafeteria; and as if on cue, the phone in her pocket began to buzz incessantly. She allowed it to go once, than twice, before guilt started to ruin her appetite. Her heart sank when she finally bothered to glance at the number. Oh no. I'm screwed.

"Mr. Jiwoo!" She answered with a nervous laugh. "Sorry I didn't answer right away. I was uh... in the bathroom?" Although spontaneous, there was one thing Han Chorong was not good at to go along with it: lying.
