First off!! You're my fave!! 11/10, great human, I profusely thank the sperm that won in your case. I've been following you for ages :D I also love your works on AO3, and I'm just curious (please don't think I'm trying to be pressuring or anything!) about if you're planning another instalment of the We Should Just Kiss series? It's one of my favourites!

I had been. But CW kind of threw a wrench in my plan and then I felt down about it and now it’s like....so far away? I wouldn’t know how to pick up where it’d been left off with all the clusterfucking going on in the MCU. I’m not opposed to doing another WSJK. It’s just a matter of...what kind of plot???? could I even do??? The fics are canon divergent yeah but they do follow the MCU narrative as close as they can. I’m kind of stumped in that regard.

We Should Just Kiss ✨SEQUEL✨ Preview

It matters for Steve, in ways that normal people don’t understand. Symmetry matters. Compulsive and strange, he is respectful of where they vary, of all their gorgeous differences, of course he is, but he also doesn’t like any scar Eddie has that Steve does not, in some small way, also own.

Their bat scars are oddly similar. The soft, unguarded flesh of their sides were where the creatures targeted both times and so to some degree, they have echoes of the bite scars.

Eddie’s big scar on his back is almost matched by Steve’s chest scar. He knows, at least, that Steve considers them equal because of that. Their own big ones, the ones that came to kill them, it maintains a fragile sense of symmetry that matters to Steve.

But this line is something only Eddie has and he knew it’d be a matter of time before Steve asked for it.

Eddie can’t really refuse Steve anything, he wouldn’t know where to start and he does not want to.

So, one year ago or maybe two, he used a sterile, clean blade and cut Steve’s side. Shallow, controlled, he made art where Steve asked for it. A simple line, like the one on Steve’s palm that they gave up re-inking shortly after Steve’s side healed well, left a near identical scar. Only weeks later, he asked for the cut on his palm and Eddie was ready for that too.

He cut his hand, kissed the blood and they fucked for hours after, playing with the sticky wet mess, body paint and ruined sheets and all the little Steve cells leaving his body in extravagant, wilful waste.

It healed well, Eddie cleaned it very carefully after, he always does.

Takes care of his boyfriend, his love, his monster.

would steve and bucky ever get TJ a pet? what would he even want? there are so many options <3

He’d want a dog. I think they’d get him something fluffy and cuddly. Maybe even a Great Pyrenees. I can just imagine them all in bed and the big white fluff boyo harrumpfs up there and in unison they all go “Oooof!” But then he’s TJ’s pup so they gotta let him stay, so Steve and Buck end up plastered onto the side of the bed. Steve falls off around 3am. TJ and the doggo are just fine though! TJ may have some white furr in his mouth though. XD XD
