Leaning against the wall, Acacia lit up a cigarette, then took a long drag. “Seriously, Tinder sucks,” she said as she exhaled, her eyes now fixed on the person standing near her, rather than the app on her phone. “I’m considering wearing a flashing ‘hook up with me’ sign. It might be more effective.”

It was Kai's first shift at the school's gym. He'd been tasked with manning the front desk, taking IDs and signing in the students and community members that walked in. It had been a slow day, but Kai perked up slightly when he heard the door open. "Are you a student here?"

                     “ — well do you want to play or not? ” shuffling the cards in his hand  ramses looked at the onlookers curiously, and a tad bit mockingly, “ mean solitaire is alright but i’d rather be playing texas hold ‘em. ”
