I’m Just-a-Writer, if the name seems familiar it’s because this is an old, old, old blog before writeblr was even a thing. I’ve brough it back from the grave in the hopes that writblr will help hold me accountable to actually finishing a project!
About Me
I’m a queer, neurodiverse, spoonie writer. I have a bad habit of not finishing projects, but I focus on romance, fantasy, and occasionally fanfiction. Having said that, I’ll read almost anything with a happy ending! Most of my projects here, if not all, will fall into the category of “reverse harems” or poly romances #whychoose

WT: The Eight Princess
(If any of you are familiar with Korean light novels, you’ll recognise this sort of plot. This is a fun project that’s just meant to remind me that I actually enjoy writing!)
My favourite webnovel was The Eighth Princess, where the bright female protagonist Brooke returns to her real family having been swapped at birth with villianess Lola. I enjoyed seeing Brooke get all the love from the Morgans that she’d been denied growing up with the Porters. However, I still sympathised with Lola, who was very much a product of her upbringing. For that crime(?!), my soul has transmigrated into Lola’s newborn body! To avoid being humiliated and cast out, I resolve not to involve myself with the Morgans and leave as soon as they find out I’m not really their sister. But when I try to leave, Brooke and her seven brothers cling to me, refusing to let me go. Also, why is the male protagonist giving me flowers instead of the female lead?? Wait, Brooke, you’re not meant to be a cheerleader for our “relationship” either!
