Spotted: A tearful reunion between ex-lovers Bella and Liam.
Was that a reunion or merely splitting open old wounds? According to previous witnesses, L was cold at the end and Bella indifferently walked away. Those aren’t exactly the actions that speak to a love that can be rekindled; those sounded more like a fire dying out. Still, I may be wrong and maybe the waterworks are a sign of something starting; floods have been known to be an effective reset.

What is going on with that Madison boy?
Well, he’s been spending some time at the library, engaged in awkward conversation with his ex, and I’m going to assume he has drum practice after school.
Nothing exciting, but he’s still fun to watch because he’s nice. Until he came along, I wasn’t sure we did nice here.

I’m not sure there’s anything cute about exes. Especially in the case of first love stories, their eventual end is just a sad fact of life. The feelings remain long after the relationship has come and gone, especially when individuals don’t have the time and experience to see exactly when things have run their course. Old feelings linger, warm sentiments remain-- and their interaction is forever tinged with the leftovers of their former relationship.
It’s quite typical, actually. If we can just figure out why Liam laying on the ground in the first place, maybe that would be a place to start in unraveling exactly why their relationship ended in the first place. It doesn’t seem the two have hard feelings -- but they are awkward, which makes me think their relationship ended before they wanted it to for whatever reason.

That was definitely not just you. And while he is rather adorable and completely loaded, he’s a little young for eccentric behavior. There are far better places to lay for a scenic view, L. And cleaner ones, too.

Who cooks normally?:
They’re usually into just finding new, lowkey restaurants and trying new takeout places, but there are times where Liam wants to make things special and cooks for her and then there are times where Ruby comes in while he’s cooking and fucks it all up and it turns into a food fight.
How often do they fight?:
Rarely. It’s mostly play fights about how one of them cheated during a video game or what to watch on NetFlix.
What do they do when they’re away from each other?:
Usually, they just send each other a whole bunch of voice-memos in funny accents and voices. And to bother him, they’ll send each other pictures of them fucking with each other’s stuff; she’ll take a picture of her playing his World of Warcraft and fucking his shit up and he’ll take a picture of him messing up her usually very neat room.
Who steals the covers at night?:
She does. She’ll steal all of them and just be wrapped up in a burrito while Liam freezes, but he doesn’t mind, he’ll just cuddle with her and gently unravel the blanket/sheet tortilla.
Who remembers things?:
Liam remembers everything, stupid or important. He’ll bring up random facts he’s learned over the course of his life during conversations but he also remembers things that she’ll tell him that might actually be important.
Who cusses more?:
Ruby, of course.
Who takes longer showers?:
Liam. He listens to most of the Star Wars film score in the shower and pretend that his shampoo bottle is his light saber.
What’s their favorite place to go together?:
They actually like to stay at each others’ houses and hang out at home. They actually build forts and watch movies on his or her laptop, so that’s probably their favorite place.
Who’s more likely to burn dinner?:
Ruby, or Liam if Ruby’s distracting her.
Who falls asleep on the couch?:
He’ll fall asleep playing video games all the time. It’s annoying, but who could get mad at Liam? He’s like a puppy.
Who sings in the shower?:
Liam does mostly, but on the rare occasion that Ruby does sing, he’ll take video to have proof.
Who plans date night?:
He does. Always, but it’s usually fun so she can’t complain.
Who wakes up first?:
They both sleep in late, due to his excessive gaming and/or NetFlix marathon.
Who drinks all of the coffee?:
Whoever gets to it first.
Who starts getting into holidays way before they should?:
Liam does. He’ll blast holiday music knowing that Ruby hates it.
Who initiates the couple selfies?:
It really depends. Sometimes they’re both totally against pictures, other times they’re all for them. Most of the time, one person wants to take pictures while the other doesn’t and the picture will reflect that. But those are the best ones.
Who forgets the birthdays and anniversaries?:
Liam, because he’s too busy in gaming-land.
