You wouldn’t even think that these plants are edible.
Do you, like, even KNOW what food is?
Ok, as much of a "foodie" as I am, I DID NOT recognize some of these beautiful plants and it seems like maybe I should.
If I'm going to analyze and understand food and our relationships, I must KNOW food in all it's stages of life. Ideally, I would also know how to GROW all my favorite foods (or raise them, in the case of ducks and goats, and hunt them, in the case of fish and deer)
But let's start first with knowledge- over the next few days, I will research a select few of my favorite foods and share some of my findings!
