Hey this is probably a stupid question but is there any way to get to the very beginning of ur blog on mobile? Im asking because I dont wanna be spoiled and also want to see how ur opinions change while reading.

I respect everything Andrew has done, which is why this project is important, but I guess I've been describing the project in the wrong way. I interpret the current ending to Homestuck as Andrew asking us to make our own endings, so this project is a possible ending, I guess. I'm sorry about the negative stuff that happened.

There is an astronomical difference between a fan project and a spiteful project designed to discredit, disregard, or otherwise disrespect the author. You indeed described it like the latter. I have zero qualms with the former.

No matter how much you love or hate someone else’s project, it still does not belong to you.

Homestuck is not anyone else’s to “finish”. It belongs to the guy that worked his ass off for seven years to conduct a revolutionary multimedia experience and took extra leaps and bounds to make it more interesting and fun for the millions of people that it reached. Whatever you think of the ending, it is the ending, because Andrew made it the ending, and Homestuck’s story is Andrew’s. 

I had no idea people were acting like entitled children about this. If you want to tell your story, tell your own story instead of shitting on someone else’s hard work.

Hey, uh. I get that people make fancomics and fanfics and fanadventures and stuff, but claiming to make a “real ending” or to be in any way related to or better than a project that does not belong to you is a real dick move. 

Homestuck’s story belongs to Andrew Hussie. He spent almost a decade making it, and it is whatever he wants it to be. He did not “leave off” anywhere. He told a story that he made.  

Andrew spent so much time and effort and so many headaches and went through so much and worked so damn hard putting this together and calling a fan project of unsatisfied what-ifs a “real” anything is real, real fuckin shitty
