Okay that video of Carlos seeing Lando's crash live while being interviewed is actually kinda heartbreaking. He looks like he's about to cry at one point. You can see he's genuinely terrified, like he's just watched his little brother/bff get badly hurt or worse. My heart may have warmed towards him a little there.

ngl i always felt that carlando was genuine on lando's side more than carlos's because lando seemed to really care about the friendship but carlos just seemed a bit like he only cared if the camera was on? // nah, I don't think that's the case, they seem friends in real life. If you see the video of Carlos' reacting to Lando's crash in Spa you can see he really cares about him.

But I really think Carlando is genuine, at least if you take into consideration Lando's word /;/ ngl i always felt that carlando was genuine on lando's side more than carlos's because lando seemed to really care about the friendship but carlos just seemed a bit like he only cared if the camera was on? but then i didn't follow it that closely so idk maybe he did show he cared in ways i didn't notice. i guess it seems to me the only genuine friendships are george/alex, pierre/charles & lando/max

Looking at the COTA helmets shared so far, Yuki, Lando & Fernando's are really nice but George Russell's helmet is really ugly and including a sheriff/ police badge feels really tone dead as well.

Okay Lando has got a lot of justified calling out for some of the things he's said in the past but I really like the way he handled that leading question from the reporter about female fans today. Turning it on its head to talk about inspiring those young girls to get into motorsport is *chefs kiss* The lad is slowly learning.

Sincere or insincere? / sorry I meant insincere. I feel like he knows what makes him look good & so he does it. Like he knew the whole Carlando thing was good PR so he ran with it. I'm not convinced he ever really was serious about that friendship like Lando was which honestly makes me sad for Lando bc much as he can annoy me I get the feeling he doesn't trust easily so I hope I'm wrong about Carlos using him like that. Now he seems to be doing the same with Charles except Charles doesn't care
