what makes me disappointed is to know that ally outrage doesn’t last. people of colour will remain mad about this casting choice. we will remain upset that they didn’t think a woc could have been the main but decided to go with the stereotypical white blonde. whatever issues she will face, a woc would probably face it too and if its a white saviour thing i really don’t want it. we had moyo and yasmina RIGHT THERE.
thinking about march and april last year as the most beautiful months ever. when i felt butterflies in my stomach. i was so in love. i was different and happy. all skams aired at the same time and i was there when history was written. when every character fell in love and cried and i could relate so much. oh i was so damn happy. uni was fun. the sun felt like medicine. every step was so easy. it didn't feel like today's pain. i know this will never happen again. but i am so thankful. because the skam months made me feel things with such an intensity.
