Went to this show last week :)
DJs of the Week: The Dynamic Duo of Hummus for Breakfast!
(Unfortunately this is a tad late to promote their show which was this morning at 10, but it was spectacular regardless)
They are responsible for this wonderful thing:
Sasan Mousavi
Sasan Mousavi reads, writes, and scrutinizes books for his college living. The first song he remembers hearing is “Around the World” by Daft Punk. From there, his magical music tour of mystery has taken him all over the globe, in search of bombastic beats, tantalizing tunes, and lovely multilingual lyrics. When not analyzing these aesthetics and listening to Queens of the Stone Age for the umpteenth time, he enjoys thinking, debating, and the wonderful art of flânerie.
Will Mullany
Will is a 2nd-Year CogSci Major. Will likes to listen to as much music, from as many different genres, as possible. He once listened to a 3 hour recording of Chimpanzee mating calls trying to discover the hidden beauty. Will owns a goat as a pet. Will likes pesto and long walks on the beach. Will has two middle names. Will lies awake at night, fearing the day that his hard-drive will fail and he will lose his ITunes library. Will is highly skilled at whistling without anyone knowing, doodling, and writing DJ bios.

Are Bats Birds? From the Studio Walls
From BIRDS DO IT:
"We found this question posted in the studio today by an anonymous source. We'd like to offer a scientific explanation:
Bats are not birds but they both start with a b and birds have eggs whereas bats have stringy bat births and are attracted to shiny objects in the night sky while birds prefer woody bits and bobs."
Ya learn something new every day.
Btdubs, more features from the Studio Walls to come in the Pictures section.
DJ of the Week
Featured DJ of the week! David Calvillo aka. DJ Woolly Mammoth, so named because his awesome hair.
David is your typical over-stressed first-year architecture major. Frazzled, sarcastic, and all-around eccentric. Donning hair rivaled only by that of ancient hairy beasts, David brings you offerings of folk, post-rock, psychedelic, and everything in between.
Favorites of this odd fellow include The Microphones, the Mountain Goats, Mount Eerie, The Mars Volta, and Sunny Day Real Estate, among many other artists in many other genres. He can be heard bumbling about the studio in between his plethora of weird music Wednesdays 6-8PM on The Ice Age.
David in the studio:
Super hyped for my all John Darnielle radio show tonight. I just want to breeze through today to 6pm
