so true it's just the absolute lack of nuance of people, i care a great deal about the environment and strongly believe taylor should be doing better but it's one of those instances where people who love to hate on her cling onto something and enlarge it a thousand times, on the basis of misinformation (e.g. the short flights that weren't even her). like cool that people are talking about climate change, and we can urge taylor to do better, but let's maybe focus on taking actual action, supporting green initiatives, signing petitions, voting, etc. and do things that actually make a difference and have a local/national/global impact.

YEAH i couldn’t have said it better! they could use that energy on something useful but no, it’s much easier to dogpile on taylor. like if they actually cared, they’d at least call out everyone else who uses private jets but it’s always disproportionately focused on her and it’s because they love to hate on her and they’ll find any reason. and it’s disguised as activism so they feel better about it!!

however taylor is still wrong for flying across the ocean just to go to the game before flying back the same direction a couple of days later. and those thoughts can coexist 👍

okay i'm gonna try and give you some reasons why you shouldn't. you are loved, i know it sounds generic but it's true, you have family, friends, maybe even a pet and a weird tumblr community who love you and would miss you. you wouldn't be able to experience the good things in life, like the singing of birds, blooming flowers, first warm day after a cold winter, hugging a friend, laughing so hard till your cheeks or ribs hurt, making someone genuinely happy by seeing you, eating your favourite food, being creative, hearing your favourite song, going to a concert, etc. you wouldn't be able to look back one day when you're doing better - and i promise you one day you will be better - and be so proud of yourself of what you've gone through and come out alive. i can tell you this, you might not be proud of yourself yet but i am so proud of you for fighting your demons every day and being here even when it isn't easy. please take care of yourself, go take a bubble bath, watch your favourite movie and have some good snacks, anything that makes you feel better, you deserve to feel so much better

I have seen le creuset sales in physical cooking utensil shops before so it's not like they wouldn't do that, also january is a sale period over here and it's very common to do crazy massive sales for the end of the month to get rid of any remaining stock. if this is from the official shop, I don't see why it wouldn't be legit unless if there's something sketchy going on? either way, I'm not an expert on the brand but let me know if I can help trying to figure it out xx
