This was taken on probably my favorite day of the trip. We woke up on the side of the Testa river and we planned on going fishing but it was close to minus thirty out and everything we had was frozen solid, there was so much frost inside the cab if my truck that it looked like it had snowed in there. Our propane stove wouldn't work in this cold so we had to eat a cold breakfast again which really had us feeling down. It was still a beautiful morning though and I regret not being in the right mindset to enjoy it. We set off and drove through the northern Rockies provincial park and as the beautiful peaks rose above us and the sun shine high our spirits lifted. We crossed paths with heards of caribou, elk, a few moose and finally outside munch lake we finally saw bison!!! We pulled into liard river late in the night and went for a dip in the deserted hot springs. So we sat there for hours all alone soaking in the first warmth we had felt in about a week watching the northern lights flicker and the milky way. It was the perfect end to this incredible day! #pnw #pnwwonderland #pnwbc #pnwawearness #pnwadventures #pnwdiscovered #staypnw #stayandwander #thatpnwlife #explorebc #exploreyukon #hellobc #travelyukon #explorecanada #wethriveoutdoors #wtoambassadors ..................................................................................... .....................................................................................
