There was nothing but silence from August and Kaleb couldn’t blame the guy. What happened and how Kaleb walked out wasn’t good and he figured August needed space and time to collect himself. Kaleb knew he did wrong but he just wished he could fix everything. But he couldn’t. He wanted to though, the times he went to the man’s house to talk he wasn’t home and he would go to the restaurant in New Orleans to check on August but no answer, that’s when Kaleb dug deeper. Finding the hotel that August was staying at. Kaleb couldn’t just let time fix this, he had to talk to August at some point and as he stepped in front of the door, Kaleb’s hand felt heavy to knock on it. @augustharlow
