Emma had a spot in the woods that she had been coming to since she was a little girl. She normally just sat there, thinking, but after a long day at shift at work, she found herself dozing off to the sound of the bubbling brook.

Daisy emerged from behind the tent, taking the last bite of her apple before noticing the customer in front of the shops stand. “--Oh...oh! I’m so sorry! You should’ve told me you were here. How can I help you?”
“I think I’m going to need a diet after this is over...”
Peter had finally decided to come out to the spring carnival after sitting in his apartment for 2 hours not knowing what to do. And now he was regretting that decision sitting at the table nursing his coffee.
“I’m not going to the Carnival,” She said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She could go to the Carnival if she wanted to, but Emma needed the money so she chose to work.
