honestly as a graphic novel adaptation overall, the TRB one is one of the better ones i've seen (looking at you, Protector of the Small adaptation 😒 (it's bad)). But at the same time... I KNOW they had to cut a lot of lines and small moments because the publisher enforced strict page limits and such. I know it. and that IS disappointing even though I KNEW it would happen. :( Can't win it all...

the joy of only using tumblr and no other social media is that i had to find out through the TRC tag that Penguin has been handing out PR boxes willy-nilly to ~influencers~ and whatever on instagram and tiktok. Which is an extremely normal thing for publishing houses to do that I managed to entirely forget about.
