Theo's bar wasn't much to speak of. It wasn't in the center of a bustling downtown, it didn't ever have more than three or four employees working at once, it wasn't even one of the newer bars in Ocean Harbor let alone the nicest. In fact, the "n' Grill" part was mostly for name flow considering it was mostly just an old fryer in the back that was probably breaking a safety violation or two and the extent of the menu conformed to whether or not the fryer was working that day or if his cook even wanted to show up for work. Still, when Theo had purchased the old dive bar, it had come with its fair share of locals and throughout the years, and he had even been able to scrounge up some more. Occasionally, he'd even be lucky enough to get in a few new and unfamiliar faces, even at 6pm on a Wednesday night.
Theo had been fumbling with one of the taps underneath the counter when he'd heard the loud groan of the front door close, signifying someone had just walked in. Knowing he was the only one scheduled to work until later that night, he peeked his head up over the bar top to confirm that he did, in fact, have a patron. "Just a sec!" he called out to them, giving the wrench another tug to make sure the tap was extra tight before finally crawling out from under the counter, adjusting his button-up and giving his jeans a brush to straighten himself out. After wiping his brow with the back of his arm and letting out a soft sigh, he turned to the newest face and gave them a small smile.
"Welcome," he greeted. "What'll you have? I've got just about everything except for maybe -" Theo turned to the tap he'd just been fixing, reaching for a beer mug and tilting the tap down, making sure it was fixed. After the mug was half full, Theo tipped the beer back and gave it a taste. "Yep, she's fixed. We have just about everything. Maybe nothing too fancy though, my bartenders are a lot better at making the mixed drinks..." he admitted sheepishly.
