Electric utilities initially reported that almost 500,000 customers were without power, although that number dropped to 19,500 by Friday night. Rivers around the state were reaching historic levels Friday, officials said. ___ In Clay County, northeast of #Charleston, the Elk River rose to over 33 feet, breaking the previous record of 32 feet set in 1888. ___ 🔹Gov.
