Here is a map of Sodbusters, in New Castle, IN, where Salute to Veterans was held. George Co. camped towards the NW corner of box no. 5. We had three tents and an awning for shade during the head of the day. In the first big battle in the space marked No. 10; the 505th flanked down the slope of the triangle, utilizing a natural stream/trench for cover to surprise the Germans. Airborne, all the way!
