USWNT v Brazil Quarterfinal game from 2011 World Cup being shown on Monday 4-20-20

This was one of the most exciting games I’ve ever seen. Win or go home. WATCH IT!!!

The US managed to tie the game in the 122nd minute. That’s right. That’s not a typo. Pinoe launched a perfect ball in to Abby Wambach who drilled the header into the back of the net. One of the best goals you’ll ever see. And who started the play from her Right Back position? Ali Krieger.

The US had to play down a woman from the 66th minute on and it was incredible to watch. Hope Solo saving pks. Marta being amazing Marta. And then the pks to decide the winner of the game were so intense!!! And who was it who made the 5th and final pk for the US to clinch the victory???? FIFA’s best right back of the tournament, and my fave, Ali freaking Krieger!!

If any of the newer Women’s soccer & USWNT fans want to see some of the older, current players back when they were the youngsters, then check this game out. Highly recommend. You won’t regret it.
