ENTRY XXX

So, there’s this kid. Zelos (I keep wanting to spell it ‘Xelos’ - shows what this place does to you, huh?). And, man, does that guy have personality. That’s the only word I can think of for it. Well, that’s not true.

Fake.

He’s like us - it’s a convincing facade, but that’s not a ‘real’ self. You learn to tell the difference once you’ve been faking it yourself. It’s weird, though - he has a heart. He should be able to feel just fine - and he does, for some things. Some of it’s real.

Not much, though.

Kid’s hiding something. Dunno what, but, given what I’ve seen, it’s gonna be fun to figure out.

Wonder if it’d be worth it to bring him under our wing, properly?
