DEAR MEMBERS,

after careful deliberation amongst the admod team, we have decided to put winxrp on an indefinite hiatus. we would like to thank each and every one of you for making winx such an enjoyable and welcoming environment, and for the dedication and time you’ve put into our rp! it was an honour to meet the lovely muses you came up with for our little universe and watch your muses grow through their interactions between muses and reactions to our events and plot drops. you were all so responsive and complimentary to our ideas, and for that, we could not have asked for a better group of writers! all of you really made running winxrp a wonderful experience, and we’re so very grateful for that.

this is most certainly not the end! the admod team would absolutely love to potentially revamp and reopen winxrp in the future, and we hope that we’ll be able to cross paths with all of you once again! of course, you are most welcome to continue writing with each other and further developing all the wonderful muses you’ve created. we look forward to seeing where you decide to take them, and we hope you’ll share it all with us one day, should we reopen!

we will miss all of you, and we can’t wait to see you again! thank you once again for having joined us on this journey, we really can’t appreciate you all enough. we wish you all the best!

hello lovelies! as the end of the year is approaching, we’d love to wish everyone who celebrates a very happy holiday! we understand that life can get a little hectic during this period, and we’d like to accommodate our members’ needs. to that end, we’ve created a POLL HERE for feedback on the current activity requirements, and if you’d like for them to be reduced during this holiday period.

additionally, we’ll be releasing an ask meme soon, so keep an eye out for that! as per our rules, TWO ASK MEME REPLIES is equivalent to the activity of ONE THREAD. there will be no word count minimum for your ask meme replies, but we do ask that you avoid one-liners!

hello, lovelies! we've noticed some confusion regarding how ask memes contribute to activity and points. to clarify, TWO ASK MEME REPLIES account for the activity of ONE THREAD STARTER / REPLY or SOLO. distinctively, in the case of points, ask meme replies do not contribute to points in our points system. you may find an exhaustive list of the kinds of posts that contribute to points on our POINTS PAGE. we sincerely apologise for the lack of clarity here, and we hope this helps make things clearer! as always, thank you all for your continued dedication to winxrp! we truly appreciate every single one of you ♡

POLL RESULTS

hello lovelies! thank you all for responding to our poll and for all your kind feedback! as per the results, we’ll be lowering the activity requirement to ONE THREAD a week, from NOW to 9 JANUARY 2022, for the holidays. this change will be reflected in tomorrow’s activity check, and has been recorded in our guidelines page to avoid any confusion!

as a majority of you voted for our next event to start before the holidays, we’ll also be dropping our first part of the event NEXT SUNDAY, 5 DECEMBER 10PM KST, so keep an eye out for that too! thank you everyone, and have a lovely weekend!

we’re officially open for interactions! thank you all for your interest in winxrp! we thoroughly enjoyed reading about all of your muses and can’t wait to see them on the dash ♡

if you’ve missed our first batch of acceptances, we’ll be conducting acceptances biweekly on WEDNESDAYS and SATURDAYS, 9PM KST. the submission box will be closed 2 hours beforehand at 7PM KST.

we want to create a welcoming environment here at winxrp, so please make sure you welcome all members, like those intros, and plot with everyone!

please remember to tag all intros with wx:intro! as written in the guidelines, please post your intro within THREE DAYS (72 hrs) of acceptance.

please also remember to tag any open starters with wx:open so other members can easily find and reply to it via the tag!

if you haven’t done so already, do make sure your points page (with the url /pts) is up and running.

OPENING DATE!

hello lovelies! we’re incredibly grateful for all the amazing applications we’ve had the privilege of reading, and how quickly you’ve helped us reach our opening goal ahead of time. because we’ve reached 10 accepted applications, we’ve decided we’ll be opening this sunday, 24 october at 9pm kst!

to get everything ready, we’ll be closing wxsubmit at 8pm kst on the day of, so make sure you send in your application by then to be considered for the first round of acceptances. if you don’t manage to make it in time, don’t worry! we’ll be holding acceptances every wednesday and saturday, 9pm kst too.

we just wanna thank you all again for the love and interest you’ve sent our way! we’re so excited to open and write with all of you and your lovely muses ♡

GUIDELINE AMENDMENTS

hello, everyone! the admod team has decided to implement some minor changes to our guidelines that we believe would benefit the roleplay. the changes are as follows:

SECOND MUSES

after seeing your responses on this ask, the admod team has decided to raise the cap to TWO MUSES. you are able to apply for your second muse once you have demonstrated TWO WEEKS OF ACTIVITY, measured as 2 para/script posts a week, and at least THREE ACTIVE THREADS as per our guidelines. additionally, given that we have limited spots for both winx and specialists, we ask that your second muse be a DIFFERENT ROLE to your first! for instance, if your first muse is a winx, you can only apply for a specialist for your second muse, and vice versa. you can find this rule change in our guidelines page.

TIER UPGRADE

we’d like to thank each and every one of you for being so active on the dash! we’ve noticed that quite a few muses have reached the halfway mark to TIER 2 a lot earlier than we had anticipated, and we’re super excited to see it! in preparation for your tier upgrades, we ask that you please INFORM the main when your muse has moved up a tier so that we can reflect it on the roster as well. you don’t have to inform the main when you’ve unlocked or upgraded a skill. you can find this rule change in our points page.

MINOR LORE TWEAK

hello lovelies! the admod team has had an ongoing discussion regarding who would be eligible for winx and specialist titles, and we’ve decided to make a minor tweak regarding this point! we’ve realised that our pages haven’t been very clear, and we’re making this announcement to explain the change and make things a little less confusing for current members and future applicants.

we have previously indicated that ‘winx’ and ‘specialists’ are titles given by the academy, and thus fairies who did not undergo training from the academy would not be referred to as such, even if they were guardian fairies who similarly protected the realm. we’ve since changed this such that all guardian fairies, academy students and graduates are granted the title of ‘winx’ and ‘specialist’. this particularly applies to fairies who protected the realm while the academy was not yet open ( between 1921 and 2021 ). following this change, muses with any relation to guardian fairies can now call them winx / specialists even if they did not attend the academy!

we hope this change helps to clarify how those titles work! we’ve also updated the main’s lore changes to reflect this change in our roles page. finally, we’d like to sincerely apologise for our previous lack of clarity! to the members we messaged regarding this point, if you had to change part of your biography specifically because of this, please feel free to keep your original biography if you’d like to! thank you for your understanding, and as always, if you have any questions or clarifications regarding this change, feel free to drop us an ask or message ♡
