Alex had been entirely sucked into her work. After all, Cicero had left her the shop since he was revealed to be a serial killer. Alex had been given a lot of trouble since the revelation came out and so many people wanted to shut down the shop. But alex, trying her hardest won the case and allowed the shop to remain open.
Today was a little hard to deal with. Today she had person after person who hated her come in and give her a mouthful everytime they bought something. "If you dislike me so much, why are you still shopping here?" she would reply.
The end of the day was due to come and the shop had been silent for a while now. Alex thought it would be best to whip out her laptop and do a little paperwork while no-one was around, yet.
