It was late when she heard the door and admittedly, she should’ve asked Ryder to get it, considering the current state of the town of Olympus. You didn’t know whether it was the Rogue that had run her off the road or Catalina stopping by to visit. Still, Izzy went to the door in her robe, hugging it to her as she leaned up to look out the peep hole to ensure it was someone she knew. When she sees Wyatt, her heart quickens slightly. Considering where the pair had left things off: her revealing what Reina said, him wrapping his arms around her and trying to calm the voice in her head, Izzy didn’t really know what all of this meant. Running a quick hand through her hair and rubbing her lips together, Izzy unlocks the deadbolt and the lock to open the door for Wyatt.
However, when she saw him, something seemed off. Call it intuition or call it having lived with and been around Club life for so long but when she sees him, she just knows. He’s freshly showered and yet he looks dirty. But that doesn’t mean she’s going to ask him about it. Maybe she’d rather not know. “Hey, baby,” she says, letting him in the door. “I didn’t realize you were coming over,” she adds. Not that it’s a bad thing. Izzy had wanted him back in her daily life again, annoyed at her own idiocy listening to Reina about her worth in Wyatt’s life. “Are you hungry?” she asks, unsure what else to do now but cook him something. At least not until he tells her what he needs.
