DAY 3: Yesterday, Bishop Strickland and our pilgrims left the joyful atmosphere of World Youth Day and entered one of the darkest places on Earth. It was a very emotional, but powerful experience for all, and our young people left knowing that the light of Christ Jesus can never be extinguished. #wyd2016 #Krakow2016 #wyd
DAY 3: Wednesday was a day of opposites...the joy of Wadowice, the birthplace of St. John Paul II vs. the darkness of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp.
DAY 2: On July 26, our pilgrims visited the Basilica of the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Kraków, the resting place of St. Faustina Kowalska, as well as the National John Paul II Shrine which houses a relic of the Polish Pope.
