Not everyone knows that Shin is a smart kid. People often thought Shin was the kind of student who was doomed to fail since all he seemed to care about was Quidditch but based on the school ranking, he was around the above average cut, which was surprising for most students and professors who often sent Shin to detention for disrupting classes (for flirting in class and fooling around with his friends) and just being your typical star wannabe in class. He was bored and just munching on some fruit strips given to him by some female student from Hufflepuff when he sees the Ilvermorny professor.
Shin, being his annoyingly confident self was quick to get to his feet. Rushed yet confident steps lead him towards the professor, to whom, he smiles politely to but he lacked manners or well, as he says, he chooses to not show them too much as he wished to be seen friendly and easy to be approached.
“Professor! Good day! I’m Nam Shin of House Gryffindor.” He greets the other male. “I've heard from some of your students that you're teaching Defence against the Dark Arts in your school?” Shin's eyebrow raises a bit, he was more than excited to hear about this as the subject was so far, his favorite. “What do you think about Lethifolds and have you ever thought about working on how to spot a Lethifold attack?”
