Too many to count. I could give you a playlist or a mix tape of songs that I really love or have some sort of importance to me.
... if I still had the stuff I used to make those things, of course...

Truth: Is your hair dyed black, or was it naturally black?
Well, it was originally really dark already, but it wasn't really the sort of dark I had in mind? So I dyed it the sort of black it is now.
Yeah, sorry to make you sad! Did you have a best childhood friend?
Um, not really? I mostly had to entertain myself. But if you're talking about best childhood friends in a general sense, I think that was my dad.
What were your parents like?
My mom was a consultant—or was it corespondent?— for a news station. One day, she was out in the field to get a story and ended up at the diner where my dad worked. She ordered something, they chatted, and for some reason they ended up exchanging each others’ numbers, just in case.
Both of my parents were supportive in whatever I did, my dad especially. I’ll admit, I was a bit of a Daddy’s girl growing up, but I did like spending time with my mother. They seemed to be the perfect match.
*laughs quietly to herself* Dad used to sing all these old songs that came on the speakers and the jukebox at the diner, and he’d grab me and Mom to dance along with him. You think he was trying to be one of those old rock ‘n roll stars back in the day, but he looked so ridiculous doing it that we couldn’t help but laugh. He’s the one that got me really interested in all sorts of music, not just the ones back then.
Mom was more of the go-getter type. She was actually the one who suggested that I try some creative outlets. And that’s how I got into acting in the occasional play and putting myself against my classmates in Martial Arts courses.
They seemed to be the perfect couple… until one day, they weren’t. Dad said he was going away somewhere and… and…

Lucy looked up, tears building up in her eyes as her father bent down to wipe them away. “I don’t want you to go.”
Her father, trying his best to put on a smile, placed his arm on her shoulder. “Hey… it’ll be okay. Who knows? Maybe… I’ll come back soon.” He shot his wife a concerned look. She turned away.
"Is this goodbye?" the not-quite-teenaged girl asked.
There was a moment of silence. The man concentrated before answering, “You know, I don’t really like goodbyes. Let’s just call this… “See you later, alligator.”“
Lucy sniffled as she stared her father in the eyes. “S-See you later, alligator?”
He nodded, giving her one last hug. “After a while, crocodile…”

… I don’t wanna talk about this anymore. Can we move on to something else?
How did you first become a master builder?
That would actually have to tie in with when I saw my potential to be a Master Builder.
Middle school and high school were rough times for me. You know how it is. One minute you seem like you're on top of the world at what you do, the next moment the people you thought were your friends are calling you nicknames that you never really agreed to and poking fun of you behind your back. I was also going through some other stuff that I really don't wanna talk about now, so that made the experience that much rougher.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was either over halfway through my freshman or sophomore year in high school when I found out. I was home alone one night, and I was really irritated at something or other, so I just started to trash my room on an angry whim. Little did I know that my mom was actually home and heard all this crashing and was calling out worriedly, asking if I was okay. I panicked and tried to piece what was left of the stuff I broke together, trying to make it seem like everything was fine. Mom screamed when she opened the door it find that I had made this small go-kart thing that mainly consisted of what was once my lamp, my desk, and whatever else was available. Naturally, I freaked out as well, because... well, how else would you react to suddenly seeing flashes of pieces and hurrying to get things together, only for that to happen?
So Mom and I agreed to keep it a secret from everyone. I tried to live as normally as I could, given all that had happened, but I just keep seeing flashes of pieces everywhere if I even thought of making something. I got carried away at points, but mostly those times were when I found a place where I could practice and try to figure out just what it was I was doing.
Some time later (I forget how long after that it was), Lord Business rose to power and started to capture the known Master Builders, forcing the remaining ones into hiding, and I had since dropped out of school and ran away from home. I was doing whatever I could to survive, including having to resort to stealing food and building what I needed for survival. Naturally, I had a few close run-ins with certain members of law enforcement, but somehow I managed to make it out alive and escape from being caught.
One night, I was hiding in some small coffee shop (not one of those major chain ones) in the city. I didn't have enough money to pay for a drink or a bite to eat, but an old man offered to pay for me. I soon found out, thanks to the two of us talking, about Master Builders and the Prophecy and the Special. And for a girl who had almost always been seen as "not normal" by everyone around her, that excited me to no end. So after Vitruvius told me his name, he agreed to take me on as his student so I could hone my skills. Don't ask about me choosing to go by "Snazzypants" for a while afterwards; that's a combination of a lot of things, including this "Let's not talk about my name" reason I'm giving you now.
And that's how I became a Master Builder. Kind of a long story, I know, but that's basically how it happened.
(('Nother appearance headcanon, but real quick:
~ Her real eye color is a cherry brown (brown with a red tint) sort of color
~ Depending on the day, however, she likes to wear colored contacts on occasion.))
Headcanons (just a few)
~ Even though it seems like she really prefers "dark, brooding" music, Wyldstyle actually is well-versed in a variety of music genres.
~ She picked up on a lot of new music genres by traveling throughout the realms and trying to "blend in".
~ Even though music is important to her, she's still not a DJ. She does, however, occasionally like to make mix CDs/mix tapes for her friends to give as gifts.
~ The only reason why she knows the words to "Everything is Awesome" is so she can better blend in with the crowd in Bricksburg. She had to listen to it over and over and over to learn the words to get it just right. Please do not play the song around her. She deserves a break from that song and will only sing it if necessary.
~ Some of her favorite songs in general come from decades ago.
~ She won't tell anyone about this, but Lucy has a soft spot for music from the 1950s. It's more of a family thing than anything else, but she doesn't like to talk about it.
