fuck anon honestly. rain, i've pretty much known you in passing for HOW LONG??? this even dates back to the damn FE fandom when i was there at the time - and honestly? you're such a funny and sweet person, i love writing with you and chatting with you because it was so easy for me to fall into conversations with you and that's such a hard thing for me to do. i know i can be a bit awkward but you honestly make it a lot easier for me in terms of discussion. ilu and stay beautiful. you're doing gr8

the fact that we have passed by each other time and time again and now finally Connected and Become Friends is so funny to me fdjkslhds, but i’m utterly grateful for it!!  ur such a warm, friendly, funny presence — your writing is stellar but more importantly so are you!  you’ve become a good friend really quickly, and we click really well, and i’m always happy when we chat.  and for what it’s worth you don’t seem awkward to me —- our convos always feel really comfy and natural and good.  i love youy!!

It’s not the whole truth, certainly, but it’ll have to do —— they’re barely keeping upright, leaning against the wall in the alleyway where she was just ———–

A hand presses to their stomach, the wound longer than their palm and staining it red.  DAMMIT.  It’s not that wound is extreme, at least for one like Soma, but they’ve no way to heal it without any further regenerations, no haze to trade — and they don’t want to disperse!  (  raihan’s eyes were too sad when soma confessed they couldn’t remember how they met.  )

“Saved —- agh.  Child.  But I ———-”

Soma isn’t angry at the stranger for putting the knife in their stomach, or for being so surprised when they didn’t scream that instead of just pulling it out he RIPPED IT THROUGH THEM.  But the gash is large, messy, stretching from just left of their navel entirely to the right side of their body, as though the attacker intended to bisect them.  And they ARE angry at whoever the would - be thug is that they’d pointed that knife at a CHILD.  They’re happy the kid got away, but what an inconvenience —-

“I —— okay, I ———”  The words fade, and Soma shakes their head.  This wound is so minor, comparatively.  They survived so much worse when they were still kept in the white - white - white of the scientist’s prison.  Their body WILL HEAL eventually, even without the use of regeneration, but it will take a VERY LONG TIME.  “C - Can you ——– help me go s - somewhere ——”  What’s the word?  “Without — p - people?”

She signs a quick apology as she jogs to his side, but those wide eyes are focused on the figure retreating, not Leon.  Noah.  He’d been getting an autograph from Leon, the ex - Champ had seen Lillian and waved her over, and she had...not come.  Not until Noah was gone, at least.  She doesn’t want Leon to think that she’d been avoiding HIM, though.  <  that boy used to bully me really badly.  i felt too nervous to come over.  sorry...  >  A sheepish smile.  <  whenever he used to see me, he’d pull my hair or hit me, so --- my body just gets tense when i have to be by him.  >
