I get it, but I have to keep mine on for my own sanity. I'm about as blind as Richie, and when I don't have them I get panicky. The only times I don't wear my glasses are 1-sleeping, 2-in the shower, 3-in the ocean, and when I'm in the ocean I have to cling to someone else or I for serious can't even see the shore. (Now, is he panicky like I am? No idea, but he did get terrorized by a killer space clown, so it could go either way...)
