whenever you're gone longer than a week, he stops by your quarters and fixes up your spaces (he does it so much now that your groundskeepers don't bat an eye at him)
it's gotten to a point where you both send ravens back to each other to let each other know you guys are alright. one time you forgot to do so and when you came back he followed you around until he made sure you were perfectly fine
you are the only and i mean ONLY person that giyuu let's touch his hair. he usually is so tired after his missions that he doesn't brush his hair before he passes out- so you do it for him. (not like he's complaining)
one time, giyuu and rengoku were sparring (before the akaza incident) and rengoku asked why he only really talked to you and he got flipped on his ass because that question caught his off guard- he also heard you giggle in the distance but he didn't really care
he likes to bring you back your favorite snacks from the market in nearby towns. like without fail, it doesn't matter if you're stocked up for the next month, now you have more :)
both of you spend the night over each other's quarters so much that the keepers always set out two sets of everything (they also gossip and ship you two together- it's kinda cute)
sparring together isn't a rare occurrence but at first, he wouldn't actually try to land a hit on you and would go easy on you. it took a while but he eventually toughened up against you (he still stops mid practice if you groan a bit too loudly or if he thinks a hit landed way too hard though)
giyuu cleans anything off of your clothes no matter what (he just wants to be near you and touch you- kinda like a cat) but he'll deny it if anyone brings it up
if you get injured, he'll get to you before anyone else, even if it's just a couple of scratches, he likes helping you out anyway he can
he really just cares for you and your wellbeing, and it's returned by you always <3
