Two new brooding cuts raise the levels on Innariddim's latest offering. Tape2Tape's "X Riddim" almost reads as a basic-channel dub construction with it's minimal kick/bass pattern swimming in high freq crackle and bubbling percussive half-utterances. Redream unleashes a considerably more abrasive take on echo with "Cowbell Boogie" wrapping it's conga disco loop in squeaky brakes, howling vocal delay and the occasional well-placed sawtooth grumble.
