Not to sound like a fascist who rejects modernity and yearns for a past that never was but I think X-men comics were best in the 80s and 90s and most modern ones feel cringey on the nose and watered down.

I actually hate the krakoan age for it's cultural appopration and character derailment, I hate x-men bemis time travel arc for the character derailment and quasi incel entitlement everyone has for teen Jean, I hate Morrison for the character derailment and trying to return it to the silver age when it was bad, I'm neutral on Whedon run because of the fridging and the character derailment, I hate the silver age for not taking itself or it's metaphor seriously. I enjoy the Claremont era derailment because that was good derailment tho

I sound like an comicsgater who rants about gays and women in comics when I say that

Maybe I don't like x-men, Maybe I just like Claremont and Nocenti and Gage and Pak. Maybe I like the themes but not the execution of X-men. Maybe that's the problem.

Episode 143: The Old Castle Investigation Case (Part 1)

Hello, everyone!

It’s March 31 where I am! That means 31 Days of CoAi starts tomorrow!

This is not an April Fools’ joke btw. So, if you can, please feel free to post anything and everything about CoAi in the coming 31 days! If you want, come tag me on your post or use the “31 days of coai” tag so I can find your post and fangirl with you!

As for me, my first post for 31 Days of CoAi is scheduled for posting 16 hours from now!

I’ve also scheduled a post talking about my first CoAi fic 20 hours from now (and, I have scheduled a post to be posted every day for 31 days at the same hour talking about one)!

Finally, and this is what I’ve promised when I first talked about doing the 31 Days of CoAi project, I’ve scheduled a fic to be posted 24 hours from now. Since 4/1 is special because it’s ShinAi Day, I’ll be posting an entire chapter for Accomplice! After that, for the next 29 days, I’ll be posting one very short fic a day instead, all scheduled for posting at the same hour. On the last day of 31 Days of CoAi, 5/1, which is also CoAi Day, I’ll be posting One Chilly Morning, the third installment to One Starry Night and One Rainy Afternoon!

I’m so excited for tomorrow to come, at the same time, I’m so scared that I won’t complete my posts in time every day!
