“it’s illegal buttercup. that makes us criminals—!” its hissed between clenched teeth, arms tightly wound round her chest, a poor attempt at keeping the nights chill from her bones. “we’re not supposed to drink and even if we were of age, i’m pretty sure this also counts as trespassing. which makes it two crimes!” the redhead paces back and forth, a nervous habit that she can’t seem to shake, whether its simply walking or levitating a few inches above the ground. she settles for the latter, hovering closer and closer to the edge of the rooftop, taking quick glances at the deserted streets below, ensuring no one was going to catch them. she doesn’t question how her sister got the bottle of booze. blossom doesn’t like questioning many of buttercups choices these days. but she can understand why her sister lingers on the rooftops at night. despite her paranoia, blossom knows it’s probably the only place they won’t be bothered. no one could see them from the streets below, too high for the adjoining buildings too. grumbling under her breath, the redhead eventually concedes, halting her pacing to settle beside buttercup. blossom watches as the bottle goes to buttercups lips, how she gulps without even flinching, and has the tiniest smirk before passing the bottle over. “it smells like nail polish remover.” blossom states, freckled nose crinkling in disgust. it doesn’t stop her reaching for the bottle.
