[blame it] my contribution to the btd community after who knows how long since i last posted, and im not counting in the form of sketches on whiteboard hosted by the wonderful lamb! i had so much fun chatting and messing around.

i have been so busy trying to dissociate myself from btd, specifically eps niche of ocs lately despite still being quite fond of them all, in favour of madness combat. i think eps return soured my liking for their ocs for a bit, but now that their account had seemingly disappeared again, it doesnt taste as bad on my tongue.

i havent drawn lucifer properly since may of last year, which is insane. vincent is already a rarity, im surprised hes the first one that come to my mind when im thinking about character man-spreading in a small cloth wrapped loosely around his waist. i guess akira/zero wasnt hairy enough to fit the bill, hence why vincent was picked. surprisingly didnt draw damien despite drawing basically everyone involved(?) in cains life.

vincent basically said: "wanna sit on my lap, darlin'?" or something like that. its in northeastern thai/esan dialect, hence the deviation from the central language. reminds me of those "หนุ่มอีสานใต้" and "พ่อครู" BL trope popular in readawrite again. shivers.

it had become apparent to me that i draw 3/4 turning to the left direction a lot. it had also become evident that i learn anatomy from ball-jointed dolls, specifically the double-jointed variety.

sam was sooooooo cute, but unfortunately i forgot the arbitrary rule of threes ive set for drawing his canon hair since all ive been drawing is my redesign version of his hair or the swapped au version. his outfit is also from my slight redesign. more kisses,,, more kisses for samael,,,

someone drew sam drinking coffee and i had the best time swooning over him, so cute! since its getting colder, i think sam would wrap up nice and warm for the occasion. not because hes cold himself, but to blend in better—despite his striking appearance and intimidating expression already making him stand out but oh well. i dont think i portray his scary vibes well when all im doing is cooing over him being moe.

onto enoch, his hair has always been tough for me to get right. its a thick slab of hair with three splinter at the front thats hard for me to nail down everytime. have to give that for ep for drawing the spikes so nicely for their ocs hair. purposefully made him look a little sleepy with darkness around his eyes—a little tired from pouring all his daylight hours to archiving at the library UNPAID by lucifer, and exhausted occasionally witnessing cains shenanigans, usually unwarranted and against his will.

someday hell form a solo union against lucifer and rebell. but for now, hell take the desserts and eves time and attention as compensation. technically even if enoch live in the 'back' of the library, unfortunately in this economy, this little librarian need currency to survive too. the café visits wont pay for themselves.

itd be really funny for enoch—whom ive always headcanon as quiet and non-argumentative—to just look dead inside whenever luke is ordering him around, or whenever he had a chance run-ins with cain. he wouldnt say anything out loud, but his dead eye expression and strained smile definitely says it all.

lucifer, ouuggghhhh lucifer. his shirt just keep getting lower and lower everytime. such a free spirited devil! personally, ive been referring to him as the white aryan devil because, well, look at him. the colour on whiteboard made it seems like hes very the really yellow gold commonly seen in thailand, and i kinda dig it! portrays his materialism better than just the usual gold somehow. lucifer would enjoy gems a lot i think, specifically green for the irony and damiens eyes and maybe yellow for eves and enochs eyes—not cain, never cain.

i wouldnt say luke dislike cain or anything, cain is just... too difficult to order around, and hes too old to be dealing with cain. why do that when he couldve easily pester enoch and —on the blue moon occasion— damien around?

really wanted to apply that slight specks of black feather at the base where his wings sprout from his back, but it doesnt really make sense despite how cool the effect is.

and vincent! i dont have anything else to say about him other than the fact that i could definitely have drawn him wider and more muscular to sell that hard, rugged vibe. its a shame that i didnt, but at the moment he looks pretty neat.

want to talk more about the angels dynamic.... specifically the three ive drawn plus eve and damien...

whiteboard is quite literally my equivalent of a slopfarm, not complaining though. just observing.

saw oomf drawing damien sooo prettily in his priestly robes. so elegant, so pretty! so i draw him choking on cigarette smoke and taking it up the butt.

i had the picture that younger damien would be somewhat lean but not as muscular as what id imagine how he is when hes fully the blond priest in holy cloth we see in btd2 — or if were going there, brunette with receding hairline in zeitgeist. not because his diet changed or anything, it was simply what was in fashion at the time from his lenses. though the stabilisation of his dark magic definitely feels less intensive and taxing for his body.

took some liberty with his piercings, but it mostly melt down to the same combo i sport for the characters i drew anyways❤️‍🩹 still cool though! the helix spikes look great on him.

in my head, beyond the smoking and damien acting aggressive, i also wanted to portray damiens tendency for bdsm too but eh, well we got the masochist! wanted to add dialogues like, "the fuck are you looking at?" and "jesus fucking christ, smoking is so shit out the ass." thought it was hilarious for damien in his edgy, emo era were to cuss excessively. and because my thought process for cussing ran through in esan thai first, it was x10 funnier. but unfortunately most was lost in translation. like, "มองควยอะไร / มองหาพ่อมึงหรอ / มองหาแมมึงติ"

cultural exchange for a christian bible inspired character of an irish descent and a thai writer, hell yeah.

not much musing, not today, not when i was busy getting damien fucked in the butt. theres a hand down there, not with anyone in particular but i drew ciel as a stand in for the aftermath panel thing.

"biiiiiggggg pretty smile for me please, father~!" technically หลวงพี่ is used to refer to monks, like younger monks specifically but i thought it was funny since หลวงพี่ also has a certain connotation in thailand due to certain notoriety.

"dude are you dead. i thought i weighed the edibles properly this time!"

timeline talk, damien is younger than enoch despite being his uncle—cains brother, distant reincarnation of abel, and eves son with lucifer. i havent release the post yet, but i think i did mention that enochs rebellion is inspired by damiens ever growing personality with every culture and trend he adapts. just a food for thought while i go cross eyes thinking about damien force intox into overstimulation,,, ehehehe,,,

the dizziness in his eyes was 50/50 intentional. the green on whiteboard was reminding me of the brat album cover, and i kinda went along with damien being a demanding brat for a bit. i dont know what im talking about, i should go to sleep.

i do like the unintentional detail of damiens smudged eyeliner, and actual winged eye liner looking very sharp when hes clear-headed and functional, but then when hes getting overstimulated and started sobbing and babbling his eyeliner runs down his eyes,,, ouuuwwwgggggghhhhhhhhhh

a rare appearance on my blogs; women.

a good amount of eps prominent enough female characters are all in the lilac/ourple range. the colour purple sure can mean a lot of things but i have no idea what purple could mean for any of them, except for aria. the names aria KING and purple symbolised royalty or whatever.

the barely visible right arm and brown hair is cassiels. i cropped her out because im still trying to find a douyin art tutorial that fits her. i have posted the unfinished work before, but shell look better than last time. (hopeful)

this was supposed to be a warm up that took surprisingly long, because i took a nap half-way through.

discussing additional details on the girls; gave aria pearls because i think theyre classy. edit; though now looking back at it, maybe it shoulve been a dainty gold necklace. the pearls look too costumey to me now.

changed annabelle fashion genre(?) to himegyaru, or whatever the label is, i am still trying to learn the many sub culture. i think anna is supposed to be some sort of maybe gothic lolita type but uhhhh. i saw bows and lace and like, huh! the dress i have in my head is really cute. (more drawings of girls!)

have to express that i hate the wooden limbs sano had for his dolls. yeah its much more accessible than perhaps porcelain or resin but could he just,,, not use wood. insert a prosthetists or something.

id imagine the wood would eventually accumulate a certain, distinct smell after use, if the original wood didnt already have a distinct wood smell, then it certainly wood (badum-tss) after a while.

also also, annabelle used to look incredibly docile, almost meek, like a deer in headlight which i think was very cute. i dont know what changed, or maybe its just the fact that mc is also occupying the same space as her being the (future) resident doll that got her so snappy, and perhaps jealous and horrified of being replaced!

whiteboard is HORRIBLE to screenshot, amongst its many cons but whatever. maybe im doing something wrong, maybe im not. anyways—

i thought itd be funny to incorporate more of corporate/military hierarchy with you know,,, angel hierarchy. funny crossover but its actually a cope because im trying to justify working in an office.

decided to expand on ciel and samaels dynamic a teensy bit for gits and shiggles. ive always pictured ciel as that one suspiciously all knowing, too good, and too capable person in the room. like, how did he know that? how did he get such a high rank despite his age(?)

but all that capability and talent, only for Ciel to act stupid and incompetent around samael. Just so samael can barrate him, scold him for being slow, underestimate him for impossibly getting that high of a position in the hierarchy. Samael isnt that mean and uncivilised to say it out loud, but Ciel just knows that there are some words itching to escape his senior's lips. As soon as samael gets a little handsy, guiding ciels hands, dragging him over to the purposefully abandoned pile of paperwork and suddenly ciel understood the work he was supposed to do—a smile on his face, and a polite "ครับพี่," and hes off to efficiently cut down the stacks of paperwork that accompany his title within a few hours.

“Did you use your feet or your hands to write this?” “มึงใช้มือหรือใช้ตีนเขี่ยเนี่ยชิเอล” Samael's monotone voice echoed in the way along with the heeled leather of his boots clicking against the laminated chestnut floor as his footsteps fell in a hurry, to where Ciel did not care as his attention was elsewhere. Not too far from where they are, but changing with every hurried step running pass them both in the hallway. Lithe fingers glide across the pages annotated with blue ink, crimson eyes scanning across the messy scribbles on the sheets of paper behind his glasses—too thick to be efficiently written on such a small space, structurally too passive-aggressive to be playful. Ciel's attention was divided between the man walking in-front of him and the others walking pass them in the hallway. He knew they itch to greet Samael, an honest working and respectable personnel within their section, of course they want to get a word in with Samael. They were usually mundane hailing; a wave and a smile; how are yous; have you had your coffee yet —or the one Ciel finds most irritating— Is Ciel holding you up again? Yes, Ciel is keeping Samael cooped up with him. Again. But to be fair, Ciel is practically holding Samael hostage, and forcing their proximity. But it was not his fault that Samael willingly accepted the promotion to work with Ciel while he get use to their division, thoroughly reading through the clauses that Ciel had written down in the guise of wanting a proper, and thorough guidance. It was also not his fault that Samael practically accepted the promotion without another thought—a skim, scrutinising the director with a suspicious glance and signing his name in black ink right then and there.

i feel bad for the few instances that i drew cain were all abandoned, so i whipped this up during dinner. i am simply not brave enough to draw his red mohawk, my apologies💔💔💔 please have blond cain and zeitgeist cain as compensation.

here is a close up, his piercing set-up was directly ripped off of minhyuk. i try to capture the same pretty boy hostess vibe i first got when intrioduced to minhyuk while reading legs that wont walk. one horrible blond man to another, though its rather mean to group minhyuk with cain. minhyuk is clearly more □□□□ □□□□□□□ and more □□□□□□□□□□□.

put niko in there to combat the darkness in my heart that wants to draw samael strangles seal xekiel. (theres a pun to be made there, somehow, but unfortunately my brain cannot think of any)

actually uriel hips was supposed to juts out a little more, but i was stubborn and didnt fixed it because i thought it would look fine. now it looks a little stiff.

fat samael recreation because thinking of actual poses is really hard for me for some odd reason. i think im pretty fine with anatomy but not poses to go along with it for some reason.

funfact: his moles match up with mine! or at least, the neck down. i dont know why i give him MY moles instead of samael.

i dont think i will ever get around to finish this one, but i still giggle everytime i look at the expression i gave uriel.

also its kinda funny to me that uriel mentioning eyes, and how to use glasses; considering that the both of them wear glasses. enemies to lovers goals, or whatever it is.

this is still the best looking nose ive ever drawn, and i drew it while trembling and on the verge of passing out from sedation. i should fuck around and overdose on my medication more!

hi chat its another sam post, again. im getting bashful posting about him. like... thats my wife chat... this is rather intimate (*´▽｀*) /silly.

for someone who particularly enjoys looking at shoes, i sure as hell dont draw them much.

i left their plot vague for a few reasons; wiggle room and potential to add more. its mostly just going to be cool tropes i saw and liked. nothing will be too set in stone, more so a common theme that might reoccur every now and then.

basic premise of the au that vaguely follows the 'canon', urrrr;

samael volkov, mid 30s, calm and collected, doesnt tolerate rudeness. french-slavic and a normal human. smokes, and drinks socially. cold hands.

ciel, looks to be in his mid 20s. one hell of a drinker but never seems to get drunk and never fail to make a disgusted expression whenever he sips on his alcohol. dont act human very well.

ciel frequents the bar that sam works at, usually with a dark expression on his face; a tick in his jaw and furrowed brows. sams bar, [punny name here], just so happens to be where a lot of stubborn souls running away from death tends to flee to. Last drink before death eat them alive or whatever.

ciel and sam became reluctant acquaintances simply because sam was trying to keep track of the patron that often took a tipsy person home, only for said person to be declared missing and presumed dead. only the lucky(?) few made it out alive, a former shell of themselves.

sam surprisingly didnt tip the police about ciel ,but its not like they could do anything either— they seem to be rather tight-lipped with the disappearances in the area. thats what got ciel curious about sam.

wanted to make tipping a thing, but it doesnt make sense anywhere else that paid their employees livable wage. but tipping is always nice! (additionally, the setting could be in canada. since to my understanding, theres a good population of french speaking people and the other let them. and its cold too.)

(nevermind, tipping is a thing but frown upon by businesses. its as if the customers are implying that they arent paying their employees enough, hence the tipping— a fun dynamic, i thunk!)

i did make sams design intentionally bland. the piercings were purely self-indulgent, i really wanted to fuck his ears. believe me when i say that i wanted to incorporate the red stripes from his original design but it was too flashy for what i had in mind.

derailing here, but i do plan to eventually draw a reimagined design for btd2 sam and zeitgeist sam. though he probably wouldnt be blue since ciel is already navy blue. blue on blue cannibalism. the designs wont be anything too remarkable or unique, im not creative.

never saw a tweet, pointed and barked this loudly in excitement before. thats how much i like the tweet, sowwy💔

initially ciel was supposed to have a more cryptid/entity like feel too him, but i got carried away??? who wouldve thunk. but then again, i draw on a whim without any firm planning, so its only natural to get completely off topic. rather telling of me, but anyways.

settled on camael / cammy because.

accompanied by some piercings that wouldve other wise contradict with the dress code ive set out for my version of the reaper corp., but its for safety and not control, i promise. (i lied, it is for control. hr is created to protect the organization, not the people)

between functionality and formality i settled on tabis. stilettos felt too excessive and painful, while loafers felt out of place for cammy. i wasnt specifically aiming for the office siren aesthetic but it was definitely somewhere in the back of my head.

wanted to add more strawberry, ribbons and swirly motifs but i am currently brain dead (゜∀。)

maybe now that the scythe design is more solid i should get myself working on that keychain again ( ｀д´)

there is a scythe design i found online and the blade part is engraved(?) and carved to look like feathers!!! wings!!! i believe that it is widely seen with that misas prize figure.
