Her cheeks ballooned and she crossed her arms under her bust to keep the forced air of arrogance about her. It was becoming increasingly hard to do so around Rukia... "So- Do you like it or what? It took forever to find the cutest one!"

Rukia had been studying the rabbit’s adorable features when she heard Riruka speak up again. Another smile on her face, Rukia excitedly nodded, “I like it very much! I didn’t think you’d go through the trouble to get me a gift.”

"I’ll be sure to return the favor on yours as well."

Oh no. Ooohhhh noooo.... That was cute... Riruka's cheeks turned a light shade of pink and she accidentally ignored the question as she blurted out, "H-HAPPY BIRTHDAY-!!"

Surprise flitted across Rukia’s face, her grip loosening around the stuffed animal slowly. She hadn’t expected anything like this—in fact, Rukia tried to celebrate her birthday quietly every year. And there weren’t many gifts since she tried to keep it among friends. 

But…Riruka was a friend now. And a very dear one, at that. 

"Thank you. This is very kind of you."

BI Huffs a little and looks away. "I'm fine--" Then shifts some from side to side before shoving a large plush rabbit with a cute bow tied around its neck out in front of her.

Rukia had blinked at the stuffed animal for a few seconds, frozen in place before she reached out to take it. When she felt how soft the rabbit was, she instantly hugged it closer, “It’s cute!”

By then, a large smile was on her face, “Is this for me?”

Stands there rather embarrassed with something behind her back.

Blinks over at her, “…Riruka, how’re you?”
