          Gin was quick to lean himself against Joe’s side, a loud sigh following shortly after. The boy was bored, and growing moreso by each passing minute. Joe, apparently, was the person he was going to let out these frustrations on. “ Big bro Joe, I’m booored!! Play with me, woof!! “

          A  hug.  That  was  what  she  needed  --  despite  the  fact  that  she  wouldn’t  openly  admit  it.  Joe  was  ever  the  observant  one,  noticing  how  she  was  feeling  and  coming  to   her  aid.  It  was  comforting,  to  have  someone  like  him  to  be  able  to  count  on.   Gentle  arms  wrapped  around  his  middle,  and  Sara  returned  the  hug  with  a  smile  on  her  face,  resting  her  head  on  his  shoulder  as  the  two  embraced  each  other.  While  she  knew  that  words  weren’t  very  necessary  here,  she  felt  as  if  she  hadn’t  told  him  enough,  so  spoke  up,  whispering  quietly  so  only  he  could  hear;                                                                                       ❛   Thank  you,  Joe.  ❜

          Deep  breaths.  A  second  to  calm  her  shaking  hands  and  trembling  knees.  While  she’d  watched  her  team  play  many  a  time  during  her  time  as  manager,  it  was  always  the  same  when  first  entering  the  gym.  The  rush  of  adrenaline  &&  surge  of  anxiety  rushing  through  her  body  --  lately  she’d  been  welcoming  the  feeling.  “  We  can  do  this..!  “  She  whispered  to  herself,  a  look  of  determination  prominent  on  her  features.  The  team  was  strong;  she  knew  this  all too well.  The  opposing  team  would  do  well  to  not  underestimate  them.
