xandru headcanons
°˖✧ cosmetics and scars ✧˖°

xandru is required to wear a bit of makeup at work to hide his more subtle but significant mutations.
this includes concealer around his mouth to hide the seemingly growing but faint indications that his mouth is growing.
he also has to fill in his faint, white eyebrows with some light grey to look less... well faint and dainty.
makeup aside he also has to wear sclera contacts to hide his large black pupils that don't take up his entire eye but are too large to be covered by normal contacts.
xandru's wings were removed when he was young, leaving scars along his shoulderblades. however, these scars haven't minimized over time despite lotions, medicines, etc. he hasn't tried surgery because he doesn't want them 1) to be seen and 2) to backfire and grow larger in case they don't scar normally at all.
down on his lower back there are indications of skin growth or disturbance that resemble the scars of his old wings. xandru suspects this means he is growing a second pair of smaller wings that he simply hasn't grown into yet.
lastly, xandru has no grubscars because in face his grub legs never disappeared and scarred over, while they haven't necessarily grown they remain there and he can still use them, they even include tarsi.
so. doctor worm by they might be giants? may or may not sound eerily like xandru but only that song by them
