"XAVIEEEER!" I call out as I break into his apartment, unannounced. With his spare key, since im kind.
I walk inside to find him with a towel on his head, sweaty and obviously having just worked out. But, more importantly, he's wearing a compression shirt and grey sweatpants.
"Hmm? Oh, hello, starlight." He greets casually with a soft smile. Used to my abrupt appearances by now.
"A compression shirt and grey sweatpants? Crazy. Who are you slutting yourself out for?" I joke as i watch him dry his neck with the towel.
His ears grow pink before a small mischievous smile slips onto his lips. "Who else? You."
I roll my eyes. "Ha Ha, very funn-"
"Im not joking." He inturrupts.
I pause and stare at him. "... For real?"
He grins slowly. "For real."
My brain is malfunctioning. This wasn't the scene I predicted before entering his apartment. He went of script and now i dont know what to do.
"... I dont know how to react to this. So I shall leave, good day." I declare as I spin around and attempt to walk away.
Xavier laughs and quickly catches up, an arm snaking around my waist. "Come on. Didn't you come here for a reason? Did you need to tell me something?"
I huff as I look uo at him. "First, take a shower. You stink."
"Would you like to joi-"
I cover his mouth with my hand before he can finish that sentence. "No, pervert."
His giggles are muffled behind my hand until I release him. "Alright, but tell me what you came for first."
"... Honestly?"
He nods.
I sigh dramatically. "Honestly, I have no clue. My brain had to do a system reboot. So I forgot."
Xavier tilts his head. "System reboot?"
"Yes. It was malfunctioning, so i had to reboot." I explain.
"... Sometimes, you make me think you're a cyborg." He smiles.
"A hot one? Like Android 16?" I ask before thinking. "Wait, no. That's the wrong number. Hold on."
I grab my phone and do a quick Google search. "Like Android 18?" I correct myself.
Xavier smiles in confusion. "I have no clue who that is. But im going to say yes."
I nod. "If i was an android, would I be a like Nebula from guardians of the galaxy, Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z, or like Alita from Battle Angel?"
I watch him blink. "... I have no clue who any of those people are."
I sigh in faux exasperation. "We need to have more movie nights-"
"I agree." He says quickly.
"-Although, technically. I've never actually watched Dragon Ball Z. I've just seen clips and stuff. But I heard Android 18 was hot and kicks ass. And how everyone calls her husband the strongest/most powerful man alive, because he was able to marry her." I ramble.
"Then you'd be android 18." Xavier concludes before a grin slips onto his lips. "And later, I'll be your husband who everyone thinks is the best just for marrying you."
I huff with warm cheeks. "You're awfully flirty today."
"Am I?" He hums thoughtfully. "I'm just speaking the truth."
"Earlier, you said you were slutting yourself out for me." I remind him.
"And i am." He confirms. He places a hand on one of his pecs. "You think i would wear this naturally? In my own home? No, I wear this because I know you like these types of clothes, and because you're always barging in."
My eyes naturally flicker down to follow his hand which moves onto his chest before quickly refocusing on his eyes.
Yet he still caught that small second, and his grin widened. "Did i do good?"
"For your planned outfit?" I ask.
He nods.
I sigh as I tilt my head thoughtfully. "Depends, are you looking for a reward?"
He hums in thought, his eyes slowly moving down my body before looking back up. "I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. But I also wouldnt mind if you don't give me one, as long as you take a sleep with me today."
I raise a brow at his last sentence.
"Actual sleep." He quickly clarifies. "Like, Honk shoo Honk shoo."
I can't help but laugh at his attempt at snoring.
"Alright, sure. But you still need a shower."
He sighs in defeat. "Damn, I was hoping you'd forget."
"Nasty."
Xavier pouts. "I thought most girls liked when their man was all sweaty."
"Sure, some. But youre all sticky and smelly. From a distance? Sure, youre hot. Close up? No, ew."
Xavier laughs at that. "Fine. I'll shower. But youre joining me. Im sore and need help scrubbing my back."
I narrow my eyes suspiciously. "Youre lying."
He smiles and tilts his head. "Am I?"
"... Yes." I mumble, suddenly unsure.
Xavier chuckles. "Come on, you can steal some of my clothes to change into."
I immediately jump into his closet.
"No stealing my white hoodie."
"You hate me." I declare.
"I'm hopelessly in love with you." He corrects.
I grumble as I grab his black hoodie. "Yet you dont let me use your white hoodie? Doesnt feel like love to me."
He chuckles. "I need it for a mission in a couple days. And if you take it now, I won't see it till next month."
My brows furrow in confusion on why he'd need a specific hoodie for a mission, but i dont care enough to ask.
"Fine, whatever. I'll just wear this one." I grumble as I take his hoodie and some other spare clothes.
"I'll make it up to you." He promises as he kisses the top of my head.
"It's just a hoodie, im fine." I reassure, waving him off.
Xavier hums as he kisses my head a couple more times.
"... You're being needy today." I point out.
Xavier's arms wrap around me as he sighs against my hair. "I havent seen you in a whole 3 days. I've been deprived."
"Your next mission is going to be 2 weeks long." I remind him.
He only groans in response. "I'm going to teleport over during my breaks."
"No, you're not. You need to save your energy." I scold.
"I have more than enough energy." Xavier argues.
"Yet you're constantly napping." I retort.
"... It's my hobby." He mumbles.
"Right. Either way, no teleporting." I conclude.
Xavier sighs. "Fine. But you better not accept any of Charles' handouts while im away."
"His name is -" I cut myself off as he moves his head back to narrow his eyes at me.
"Yes, sir. I shall not even be in the same room as the man, sir!" I exclaim like a soldier as i salute.
Xavier chuckles and kisses my forehead again.
"Good, let's go shower now. For real this time." He says as he gently guides me along by my waist.
"Do you still have my-"
"Yes, I still have your soaps, scrubs, conditioner, and masks in my shower." Xavier answers.
I smile happily. "Good."
