Allison is so important, she is so important, so so important. Although the catatonic Lydia after her death is also one of my favourites because ugh character development and parallels !!!!!

Stiles Stilinski, I just want to bundle him up and cuddle him until he feels okay about himself and his self worth and the things about himself he tries to hide. But then again I could say the same for Derek Hale. I feel like I’m cheating by listing two for each oops.

Dear past me,

You are a little shit. Don't argue with me, you'll agree in a few year's time. Right now, you're peaking. That's right, you are. You're at your zenith, the highest summit you've never had to climb, and it's amazing, right? Everyone knows you, everyone seems to like you, you are never at a loss for people to hang out with, no matter the event.

Well I want you to start bracing, start learning to get into the descent position, because if you've peaked, it means the rest of the journey is headed down. Don't fret and panic and look for the oxygen masks, they won't do you any good. You need to trust in yourself, because when this plane plummets to the bottom of the ocean, a plastic pocket of hopeful wishes won't get you anywhere. You need to believe in your own ability to get back to the surface before you suffocate, and it will be hard, trust me, I know. Sometimes that terrifying and overwhelming terror is like a dense fog, and you feel like you're choking and everything is closing in on you. You will feel that, it's kind of inevitable. But it's okay. Trust your arms, trust your lungs, trust that you'll break the surface in time.

You're going to hyperventilate twice in your life (so far). One will be private, one will be public (in that order). Learn from it, control it, and I want you to figure out early on that no one is going to support you forever. Find your feet, find the ground, march on and forwards, and do everything to the maximum. Because if you're gonna do something, don't half-ass it, it's not worth wasting your time otherwise. Go hard or go home.
