Oh gawd...when I first got this game 543534 years ago, I like was so trapped on my PS3 -closes eyes- I literally did every quest in this game what is a life. I was like, “pfft this game can’t be that addicting whatever.” How wrong I was.

Don’t worry, everything’s going to be okay.

He could feel the color drain from his face, but a smile he held, all be it a bit sheepish but still warm for him. Kaneki was never a good liar but its both sad and good to know he didn’t change much when he adopted the name Haise.

Do they make an effort to find someone with similar views, be they political or moral?

Overall, yes. He tends to just get along better with people who share at least some views. He can respect differences as long as the other party respects them as well, but he finds that the more there is in common, the more successful the relationship tends to be.

Do they sleep in the same bed/room as much as they can or do they sleep separately?

Before Haise moved in, they mostly slept apart, just due to the overall secrecy of their arrangement. Now that they live together, they sleep together, especially due to the space constraints of his home. But he does enjoy it more than sleeping apart. The added warmth is pleasant.

Do they understand their partners/person they are courting’s feelings without them having to say anything?

Arima is painfully bad at social interactions. He is really good at reading movements and stuff like that, but when it comes to thoughts and emotions, he’s not so great at it. He kind of needs you to spell it out for him. But he is getting better when it comes to Haise, especially.

How do they express their love to their partner?

In small ways. Making them coffee, kissing them softly, holding their hand, buying them little things. Stuff like that.

HC + Mornings

Arima has a strict routine every morning, regardless of whether or not he’s going into work. He wakes up around five minutes before his alarm (granted he actually managed to fall asleep). He cleans his glasses before putting them on and moves to the kitchen to brew coffee, and turns on the tv to the local news channel. While it’s brewing, he showers. A quick shower, only hot for the first half, then ice cold for the second half. He then half dresses, boxers, pants, and a shirt left open while he prepares his coffee. He drinks it while waiting for his hair to dry, which doesn’t take long, and watches the news channel he had on.. After his coffee, he brushes his teeth and hair, and shaves. He then finishes getting dressed, carefully tucking in his shirt and tying his tie.

Depending on whether its a work day or not, he’d then leave for the office, or settle in at his desk for paperwork.

However, ever since Sasaki moved in with him, things were a little different. He stayed in bed a little longer, lingered on his coffee a little more, and maybe stolen kisses sprinkled in here and there.

I can’t imagine there hasn’t been a morning or two where Haise has interrupted his morning routine in less innocent ways either.
