/straightens his posture once again though his gaze remains as ever on the smaller man before him/ You sound rather bleak for a man who claims to want to give strangers the benefit of the doubt and whom has someone who apparently loves him /his tone borders on indifference and something else not do easily pinpointed/

You may the first person ever to have called me deceitful from the very first meeting /remarks almost humorously, but there is no mistaking the underlying wryness to his tone/ This one you hold precious that looks like me - what does he hold you as?

I prefer to improve first impressions rather than be let down on them. (/he gives a light shrug, his eyes wandering slightly to the side, as if staring at the landscape behind the other though there is nothing particularly interesting) ..One holds me as a childe, the other as a lover. (/his words are slow, almost intentionally done so as if he simply needs to savor the words to make them real and more tangible - because in reality it never did seem real)

It hadn't been quite the question that had been lingering on his tongue but he takes in the answer and the rather...hostile-like manner that it's conveyed, physically as well as verbally. Rather than recoiling from such an attitude however, he finds himself instead leaning a little closer, until they're gazes are level with one another/ And what exactly do you see?

(/his senses are so on the edge of his nerves that it is almost excruciating, as he feels that the voices has moved closer, readjusting his gaze as soon as he catches a sound that he can latch onto - except that it is always a split second late compared to what the normal speed of reaction would be) ..The same face as the one I love and as the one I lost. (/he finds it difficult, rakes through his mind desperately to dig up the old images of what these people looked like, attempts to recall what it felt like under his fingertips when his eyesight crumpled to a useless pile on the ground) ..You look deceivingly like everything I hold precious. Although there is a difference to it. I know.
