The parts for the XD9 came in; Pistol Gear Parts and Accessories parts: XD/XD(M) Titanium Striker Indicator Kit titanium striker indicator 10% striker spring striker rebound spring 3 pack, coiled striker retaining pin Springer Precision parts: Aluminum Cocked Indicator Guide Slide Racker Striker Retaining Pin (Roll pin or split pin) Striker Spring (PLUS POWER spring for CCI 41 primers, we'll see how that works out when I work a batch of them up in the future. I won't be installing this until them.) As I often do I bought duplicates of parts to keep on hand, so I have several of each part now should this particular issue come up again. Once I took the XD apart it was clear shelving it until the parts came in was the best Idea. The stock striker indicator was damaged, I can only assume it was damaged then the striker retaining pin moved up. As you can see there is just a small chip in it. We all know that would have only gotten worse. I got the Slide Racker to see if it would help my kids be able to charge it, but I think the coating is just a few millimeters to thick and it will not fit without some subtle sanding. That is a project for another day. The rest of it went together as it should have. I thought I had ordered a new striker also but looking back at the orders I did not. Looks like tomorrow is another test fire range day, poor me. Image 5 is of the 3 different roll pins, the stock pin on the left, the coiled pin center, and the new roll pin on the left. I installed the center coiled pin. Image 7 is of the 3 different springs: Top, the stock XD spring Center, the replacement stock spring Bottom, the "plus P" spring And the last image is of the finished job. It is rare I work on my own firearms but it is more satisfying when I do.
