Vertigo [ Jongin & Daeun ]
His eyes were shut as it happened, but the action didn't help whatsoever. It was almost like being on a rollercoaster while it dipped impossibly down and closing your eyes; it made the experience worse, made it more terrifying--yet, unusually enough, more thrilling. The feeling was something Jongin would never get used to, no matter how many times he used his travelling abilities. The day he got used to it was the day he would properly settle down, even though such a thing was whimsical and highly unlikely to actually occur.
With a small sigh, the boy glanced around once he was sure he had made it to his destination, taking note of his surroundings. He expected to not know where he was, to find everything unfamiliar, but he felt like...he had been there before. It was almost like deja vu, though Jongin didn't believe in such a stupid and illogical term as that. He raked his brain for an answer, only to come up empty, and stared with hard eyes at the empty playground before him. It didn't help; instead, it served to make him all the more frustrated with himself and his failing memory. Curiosity had firmly gripped him, unwilling to let go, and Jongin realized that he now had a mystery on his hands that he wished desperately to solve.
It was when he heard the sound of footsteps crunching against gravel coming from behind that he finally moved. Turning around towards the person, the traveller opened his mouth to ask the usual questions he did, only to stop short at the sight of who exactly it was. He knew her. All too well.
"D-Daeun..." he stuttered quietly, stunned by the girl's presence. He had never expected to see her again.
And it was then that he knew exactly where he was: Kim Jongin was back home.
