in the doctor’s waiting room after both separately get injured in really ridiculous ways.

Jodie found herself in the doctor’s waiting room far too often. And, as per usual, she’d found an absolutely ludicrous way to injure herself. This time, she’d managed to bang her hand against the sink. The whole hand was bruised enough that her mother was concerned she’d broken something. So, here she was. Walking into the doctor’s waiting room and sitting down in a vacant chair. “Nice day for a doctor’s visit, huh,” she greeted the person next to her.

Cas had her guitar balanced on her hip and a big smile on her lips. The campfire was blowing warm air on them and the wind was whisking away the smoke. It was perfect. As she watched a few people get up to go back to the house and the party, something caught her eye. The smile faded. Something was there.
