Face-Claim: Olivia Hye

Biography:

Ellie didn’t had much going on before the incident, or at least, in terms of her life, she had a calm, day to day and kept it to herself to a certain extend, which makes her wonder if what happened to her was on propose. She lives by a rural area with her parents, that to be able to make ends meet are out the house a lot of the times, her mom as a struggling painter that did a few odd jobs and her father as an nurses’ aide whom still also didn’t gave up on his dreams to reach higher and become a nurse himself. With loneliness pulling at her heartstrings, the fact she was an only child, not having other kids to play around unless she would invite her best friends from school to come by and due to the interest in photography, she would find herself in the forest right across from her house to photograph nature and take in all sounds, the scents surrounding the serene nature, while thinking she was doing well in avoiding any wild animals, but that one day took a turn. Back when she was only thirteen, she didn’t took notice of a small pack of wolves approaching, that attacked her and only left her with a wound that left quite the scar for her to remember the scene by, a blurry photo in her camera and a big mystery in hands.

Why can’t she recall herself trying to fight the attack? She only remembers lying there on the snow filled ground as the animals did what they wanted and neither does she remember at all the time that anyone came to take her back and get her in the hospital. More than that, why has she been seeing one of the wolves coming closer to her house since then just to watch her through windows or stare her down at a distance as she relaxed by the porch, before they would leave when she would have the courage to approach the wolf? She had the impression that there was more to it, but couldn’t pinpoint what that could be.

Personality:

Despite being attacked before, Ellie loves wolves and all animals in general, she likes to be in her own little world and is a sensitive soul, despite being inquisitive and smilingly cold for being so reserved.  She’s also responsible, the fact she grew basically on her own and took care of the house from a young age, had her not wanting to let her parents worry about her and always making sure to have her studies up to date. It was enough that she felt guilty for having them feeling so worried when she was attacked to the point they considered seriously the possibility of moving out somewhere else at first until she convinced them otherwise and knew her parents had their own dreams they wanted to reach. If they supported her and told her she should take advantage of her interests and follow a path in photography, whom was her to be a stone in her parents own futures?

She tends at times to kind of feel disconnected from herself and reality and just daydream, to dream of how it would feel to live in the forest itself instead of just nearby it, to encounter her wolf and be one with nature, not knowing that actually, maybe this was a consequence from that one time she was bitten.
