SO, prey is made by the same studio who worked on the dishonored games (arkane studios), so if you have played those you will 100% feel just how fun the gameplay is

it’s a survival horror immersive sim but its honestly an incredible done example of how these genres work, i get scared very easily but this game manages to keep you entertained for AGES! 

it is extremely packed with content, you will 100% not get to see everything in your first playthrough no matter how thorough you are. i find it hard to replay games but this has almost never made me feel bored at all, especially with the many different ways you can change your playstyle each time.

one playthru alone is at least over 20 hours! i know i alwayss Always say this but… you can tell just how much love was put into the game w/ how detailed every single thing is💘🌈✨  and. if, anything, you can just use new game+ and have all the abilities youve unlocked from your previous save in your new playthru

i am OBSESSED with alien designs, the way you can modify your character with their powers such as shapeshifting, telepathy, ect is… the most fun way to play this game.

also. this music slaps so hard, 

if you played bioshock and you liked the part where youre swinging your wrench around to the tune of classical music, TRUST ME it feels exactly like that experience too once this bad boy comes on ingame

i have a super unlucky day too in which two very very traumatic incidences happened. how i cope with this is i ask a person to “bless” me or pray for me and not even in a religious sense im not religious but its always nice knowing someone is looking out for you and helps me feel more confident that i and other ppl will be safe throughout the day. dont worry whenever your birthday comes around you will be fine. (i also hope u have a good n fun birthday)

i realise now that my tone was somewat grim, im not too concerned with it but given my previous experiences it is making me a little cautious. but thank you anyways for taking time out of your day to write this, anon, i appreciate that sincerely 💕✨ i will make sure to keep it in mind!!!!
