so i had an awesome day

We were waiting around and these two kids were walking up to the venue, and we all waited to open the doors for them and one of them had a really nice face but they went into different doors and we were all thoroughly confused. but they came back around and we all got acquainted and whatnot. their names were mike and beyza. not gonna lie, wanted to steal her name hella hella bad. but they were so chill nonetheless. we all talked about music and whatnot and i talked about how blood on the dance floor saved my life AND THEN WE HAD TO GO BACK OUTSIDE. I SWEAR TO GOD IT WAS THE WORST THING EVER. i honestly don't think any of us were prepared for how cold it actually got. after a while, we decided to get into this awesome penguin huddle with me in the middle (cause i'm small... and i was shaking like a chihuahua.) and it was super super great. i'm jumping around a lot i'm sorry my mind is a bit ashjkl at the moment. But while we were huddled, my friend Madi texted me some weeeird shit about her cousin, and we all started making mean girls jokes, and this guy that looks liked eddie murphy was making that, "well you have your cousins, and then you have your first cousins, and then you have your second cousins." and it was so great. We counted down the minutes until doors open, and our group tried running inside, but it was so much movement at once while we had nearly no blood flow to our legs, and it was probably hilarious to watch, but not hilarious to experience lemme tell ya.

So, after five extremely long hours of waiting, we finally get inside the venue and in position. Mike and I kinda separated ourselves from the group and went towards the right of the stage. We were behind two/three people directly behind the barricade, but I squeezed us through to just be behind one person. It was great. Sandlot heroes weren't too great, but they were really nice guys. Well, the drummer and guitarist were really nice guys. Can't say the rest for the other guys. But then We Are The In Crowd came on and Tay was perfectly beautiful AS ALWAYS. Someone in front of Mike asked who liked the band cause he got their setlist, and Mike gave it to me it was the nicest thing ever.

AND. THEN. THE. WONDER. YEARS. CAME. ON. I kept asking Mike if he was ready for them to come on, and we just kept getting more and more amped as time went on. The dragged setting up and were a few minutes late, but AS SOON as Mike and I heard the beginning of Local Man Ruins Everything we just went nuts and started jumping and screaming. It was amazing. Soupy saw my sign that said, "I'm Not Sad Anymore"  and pointed at me and smiled and I started crying. That man is amazing. The rest of the set is a blur between me and Mike screaming lyrics at each other, and me and Josh Martin making total eye contact and me just screaming and crying. And THEN soupy crowd surfed and I seriously got a face full of Soupy crotch. I don't know if I should be honored or grossed out. I'm a little more grossed out if anything. But Mike seriously pushed everyone out of his way to be RIGHT with Soupy and it was a wonderful thing to watch. To see someone nearly have tears in their eyes from being in front of someone that means so much to them. It was great. After that, I had to go home, so I bought my crewneck, gave Mike my sign to have Soupy sign if he met him, and said my goodbyes.

It was a long-ish car ride home, my throat is disgustingly raw, my feet kill, my lower back hurts like no other, but all of that sweat and pushing and screaming and crying outside almost cause i wanted to spend 20 dollars to get a jump the line pass but didn't wanna leave Mike was SO fucking worth it.
