The Queen was still shocked at what she was hearing. Long fingernails drummed across her throne as one of her fae whispered in her ear. How was a false religion getting stronger and her getting weaker? It didn’t even EXIST. She was the Queen of Darkness and air, and a GODDESS. Wolf coloured eyes widened in fury and she turned to look upon the girl who had whispered in her ear, purple painted lips pierced together into a frown.
She looked absolutely terrifying, so there was no wonder that the poor fae took a few steps back before running from the room. Very few people challenged Mab’s wrath, and for those who did sure regretted it afterwards. Her painted fingernails continued to drum across the stone, now deep in thought. What was she to do? The only simple way she could think of, was to wipe the source away. Starting with CHURCHES.
Just as she was about to get up, another one of her fae entered, and this time a beautiful male with long hair, and he knelt before her. “My Queen...” He spoke calmly, and Mab wavered her fingers in response for him to rise to his feet, which was something he exactly did. “We have reason to believe that a nearby village is up in flames, and they say that mainly the Christians are targeted.” He informed, a soft smile crossing his features.
Mere moments ago Mab had been furious, but now a look of pure joy crossed her features and she quickly got up out of her seat. “Such wonderful news! I must see this at once!” Her voice rasped, echoing through the room and out into the corridors. It seemed someone had started what she was planning on doing anyway, and she just had to go and meet this wonderful person to thank them and to help them.
It didn’t take long for Mab to arrive at the scene, and Mab moved through the village with grace, her beautiful purple dress trailing behind her. The screams filled her ears, and she could swear she could hear a man screaming a prayer in the lords name. Hah! Where was his lord now? Her eyes found a priest clutching his bible, and seeing the faery woman his eyes widened. “The Devil! The Devil Woman!” He screamed. At this Mab laughed loudly, throwing her head back in amusement. “Silly, silly man! The Devil doesn’t exist. I do.” Her eyes flashed ember and his neck made a snapping noise and he fell to the ground lifeless.
Mab continued to move through the village, and soon enough her eyes came to a woman, and she knew straight away that this was her. She was absolutely stunning in every way, and the way she created such beautiful chaos made her all the more enchanting. She waved a hand, and a church spire caved in, and she was certain she could hear a few screams come from within, all the while her eyes were upon the woman, a smirk plastered on her pale face.
